Creepy Sleepy was born in Spearfish, South Dakota on the college radio station for Black Hills State University, KBHU. I lived in Spearfish from 1998 - 2002, and 2004 - 2007, and earned degrees in telecommunication, speech, and political science from BHSU. I received a fantastic education from BHSU, and have fond memories of late nights at KBHU, tromping through the Black Hills with friends, and shooting pool and drinking beer with cowboys from Wyoming.

I’m very proud to bring you audio of former President Bill Clinton speaking at my alma mater.

When the primary and caucus schedule was determined last year, I was disappointed to find South Dakota (along with Montana) at the very end of the list of voting states. I thought for sure that my former state had been relegated to obsolescence in the nominating process. Hardly. The Clintons battle for relevance has taken the Democratic campaign through every state, thus rendering the tiny state of South Dakota - and more important, the voters of SoDak - essential in the Democratic nominating process.

Much thanks to the Black Hills Pioneer newspaper for providing this audio. Portions of this audio can also be found at Talk Radio News.
