These are the various ’stand-up’ reports that I recorded while traveling over the past three weeks. I’m not accustomed to recording video, and consider these practice for future social media journalism initiatives (namely the eletion and up-coming Conventions). I don’t claim that these the same as traditional TV reports - all were recorded on the fly, all were recorded in various extreme situations on very little sleep. All, however, do tell the story of a place or event. Together, they tell a story of opulence vs. poverty, war and stability, money and oppression, freedom and parinoia. These reports might be a bit rough, but they’re all honest and they’re all real.
