Reason 1.) You complain about the War, you complain about the Bushies, you complain about the Media: Do you ever DO something about those problems? Put your money where your mouth is.

Mr. Conley, in his own Harpers Index kinda way, has brought these astounding facts: “If people would just give up one beer/coffee or one movie a month they could easily pay 5-10 for strong news content from Iraq that they won’t get anywhere else. Also, I’m getting really sick of eating rice and beans.”
Reason 3.) It’s not a donation, it’s an investment. You give money to NPR, right (You DO give money to NPR, don’t you?)? Think of Alive in Baghdad in the same context you think of NPR: It’s an investment in good journalism.
