Creepy Sleepy TV Response to the Republican YouTube CNN Debate
Who won the debate? Warner and Google, of course. Thought this format is an entertaining diversion, it’s FAR from being a more democratic format, and is unlikely to increase voter participation. BUT, why complain? What can we do to make this format better?

Twittering the Republican YouTube Debate
Although I’m in New York this evening, and will be watching the CNN YouTube debate online, my Washington D.C. colleague David Popp is on the scene. In fact, Mr. Tamboli and I set David up with a Twitter. While Popp is brand new to the medium of microblogging, he’s already been tweeting some [...]
Google = Evil - Google Turns IP Address Over to the Israeli Government
I’m pretty sure that they told us that their company philosophy is Don’t Be Evil. Listen up, Google: Turning over the IP addresses of a blogger is Evil. It is the tech equivalent of a journalist naming sources.

Creepy Sleepy: Wimp American, Hated by Sensible Americans and Radical Muslims
Clipmarks is one of my favorite destinations for aggregating, collecting, and clipping stories from the news to use as discussion pieces for the Creepy Sleepy Show. I’ll typically clip out a few major stories each morning, then either share the story with Doc or the other Creepy Sleepy correspondents, or save the story to discuss [...]
It’s The Holidays, so Give Some Money to Alive in Baghdad
Alive in Baghdad is journalism that kicks your teeth in and burns down the denture store. Produced by journalist and Crazy Bastard Brian Conley for Small World News, Alive in Baghdad chronicles life in Iraq by those who live there. It’s gritty, it’s challenging, it’s real, and it’s essential.
We social media folks [...]
Creepy Sleepy Indexed in Mahalo
Thanks much to the kind people over at Mahalo for indexing Creepy Sleepy. After some consternation, I’m becoming more and more intrigued by Mahalo’s approach to ‘Search.’ Anyone else concur that Jason Calacanis is more interested in creating a new breed of Wiki, rather than a new type of Search?

Creepy Sleepy Show 131 - On Democrats and Climate Change
Although President Bush’s approval ratings have dipped to record lows, Congress’ approval rating is even lower. Why have the Democrats been completely unable to manifest change in Washington D.C.? As the Democrats struggle to find an electable (emphasis on ‘electable’) Presidential nominee, few [...]

Creepy Sleepy Show 130 - Technology is Easy
Dan and Dan get together for a touching Mahalo-themed holiday special! Well, okay, we geek out talking about search, Search, Wikis, Google, and Mahalo. Andrlik talks about Mahalo competing with Wikipedia, rather than Google. Patterson talks about effective branding, marketing, and drugs!
Rock n roll [...]

Covered for the Talk Radio News Service.
United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki Moon addressed the press on climate change on Monday. Mr. Ban strongly encouraged the United States and China to be global leaders in addressing climate change. This, of course, was mostly a symbolic gesture, but an important one nonetheless. [...]
