Happy… the boasted illusion.
The great expectectation “be happy”.
I hate that word.
It doesn’t exist, never even has, just mere fleeting moments of joy never shared by all. Happiness, to be, must be shared by the whole world at the same time.
It is confused with contentment; something else entirely.
We have been told to be content with what we are given; is that ever going to be?
Should anyone rise above contentment and hope to fuel happiness/peace, to be shared by all?
How can you be happy if one person or child is hungry?
Or homeless? Orphaned?
Indifference is the great sin… happiness cannot co-exist with indifference, hate and fear.
Peace is fearless and happiness could result.

“My children’s laughter.” Always makes me happy when I think of those three words.
