Give Me Your Words, I’ll Give You an iPod
Okay, I know this is a strange request, but I need your help: For use on future shows / postings, I need a list of words that you associate with the word NEED. I’m making a list, a test, an experiment - or rather, a series of - for Creepy Sleepy, and the more words I have the better. Anything that pops into your mind - in fact, your first and strongest reactions are best. NEED.
Just jot down a few similar words; it’ll probably take you five seconds. I just need from you a few words that are similar to the word NEED.
Here’s the deal: I’m going to ask you for a list of words from a prompt (in this case, the prompt is the word NEED) once per week for the next six-to-eight weeks. After collecting a list, I’ll post a series of five sentences using words similar to the prompt. You read the sentences then wait for the next word prompt. Complete each prompt by emailing me your list or simply leaving a comment. At the end of the contest (sometime in October) I’ll choose at random one person who has completed each word prompt. That person will win a 2gb iPod nano (or whatever Apple replaces it with) and some Creepy Sleepy swag.
What the hell is this all about? Details to come on the next show. Think of the word NEED, send me your first and strongest reaction.
You can follow the experiment / contest by tagging or bookmarking this link.
Thank you!
