Creepy Sleepy Show 118 - On the YouTube Presidential Debates

The first show from NYC, Creepy Sleepy is joined by the Chief Washington D.C. Correspondent for Talk Radio News, Wendy Wang. Wendy recently interviewed Speaker of the House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi. Thusly, Wang and I discussed the recent raise in the minimum wage, and where the Democrats and Republicans stand.

Wang also schooled me on the United States’ relationship with China and Iran; fascinating shit.

Our colleague David Popp (as heard on the Hannity show) called in from the recent Democratic CNN/YouTube debates and provided some conservative commentary. Due to the fact that CNN moderated all YouTube submissions, the debates seemed to be more an exercise in cross-branding, with the clear winners being CNN and Google.

Wendy and David will be regular contributors on Creepy Sleepy for the foreseeable future. They will be particularly involved while TRNS and Creepy Sleepy travel to the Democrat and Republican caucus and primary states, as well as the nomination conventions leading up to next year’s election. As Popp is a Republican, Wang a Democrat, and I’m an indie, we’ve been discussing ways to do a regular feature with the three of us. We want to avoid being douchebags and doing a Crossfire-type feature, so your suggestions are welcome.

Jersey Todd kicks serious ass. He sent it a rad, and quite Creepy, house-warming gift to the show. Sick, bra! Also, don’t forget that Curtis is running for President! Details at the Brookhaven Chronicles home. And, of course, your vote (kinda) counts at Choose or Snooze: Campaign Coverage You Can Count On. Serious!

By the by, you may have to actually download this episode. We had some issues with the audio that may cause the dreaded Chipmunk Effect. Sorry!
