Creepy Sleepy Show 115 - Hannity Inanity!
At the Talkers party in downtown Manhattan, DHP spoke briefly with - and was promptly blown off by - Mr. Sean Hannity of Fox News! Special cameo by talk radio host Michael Medved! That’s right: never in our three-year history has Creepy Sleepy been graced with such pomposity and stupendous rudeness! Awesome!
Actually, when I say ‘brief’ appearance, I do mean brief. Most of this show consists of a behind-the-scenes podiotour of a political party, as narrated by Mr. David Popp, my new Republican friend. While we waited for Mr. Hannity to free up a few seconds of time, Popp gave me a run down of Republican culture, and named some of the attendees. Mr. Hannity then talked about his blog, and, uh, ‘New Media.’ ‘Cause, you know, it’s all a part of the Same Game, right? Anyway, Medved chimed in to assure us that he actually posts to his blog all by himself! Good job, dude! Now you just need some Ajaxified social-networking capabilities to REALLY secure your presence as a new media content producer!
Post-party, whilst standing outside the hotel, I was accosted by Mr. Hannity and Mr. Medved, who accused me of recording their private conversation. This show - Creepy Sleepy 115 - consists of ALL the audio I gathered from that night. I did not record your private conversation, I - like most people - don’t give two tugs of a dead dog’s cock about your private conversations, and find AC’s poop to be more interesting than your private conversations.
However, I SHOULD have recorded you yelling at me and my friends as we politely walked away. Now THAT would have been some entertaining User Generated Content. Alas, I have manners…
Mr. Hannity, if you’d like to come on the show and explain yourself, you’re more than welcome. I’m sure you have reason to be paranoid (solution: stop smoking schwag) about scruffy dudes with crappy mics stalking you at parties, but maybe you should think about how your behavior reflects on yourself before rudely, falsely accusing people of doing silly things. Yeah, well, I’m a believer that people like Hannity on the Right, and Moore on the Left (though ‘Sicko’ is a different story) do more harm to their causes than they do good.
