Colbert supports the President, and so should you
Stephen Colbert recently spoke at the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner. Crooks and Liars has posted a video of Colbert’s brilliant tirade on the failures of the liberal media (except Fox News), Joe Wilson’s Wife, and the courageous invasion of Iraq.
During troubled times like these, it takes a journalist of a caliber [...]
Supernova Update
Having been offline for the better part of the week, I missed several updates on the Supernova Earth site.
Doq has now created three shows, and several pieces of production.
Additionally, Supernova Earth just added forums.
The revolution is nigh, and Doq is podcasting it.
Rather May Blog
Dave Winer is reporting that former CBS news managing editor and anchor Dan Rather may leave CBS and start a blog.
Winer, as many know, is a pioneer of not just blogging, but of RSS and OPML scripting.
This is interesting because it further legitimizes the medium. Not simply because a news man of Rather’s stature [...]
Creepy = Courtesy = Show = Funny
I sincerely apologize for the tardiness of Creepy Sleepy Show #48. My only excuse is that Al Jazeera is keeping us from podcasting. By Al Jazeera, I really mean an exhaustive 20 page research paper on the subject.
Fear not, however, as I am providing you with a funny li’l audio snippet, courtesy (heh) [...]
The Black Hills Blizzard of ‘06
As many of you know, the Black Hills was recently hit by one of the biggest snow storms in recent years. Totals in the foothills (read: Spearfish) were 8-24 inches. Not terrible, but enough to shut down the town. Snow totals in the Hills, however, were much greater. Will sent me a [...]
Creepy Sleepy Show #47 - on social networking
Yet another Creepy Sleepy holiday special: The Easter Specatular!
Creepy Sleepy Show 47 was a rambly little discussion on social networking sites (MySpace, Last.fm, Flickr, technorati, et al), data mining, and social interaction online.
We also threw in some great PodSafe music from 22, Jon Nicholson, and Tim Fite.

Report: Podcasting Stealing Radio Demographic
Podcasting News reported a few days ago that a study from Bride Ratings found that podcasting is starting to siphon off radio listeners. This confirms what many have speculated for years.
This story comes a few days after reports that podcast growth has been slower than initially expected.
Some are now speculating (and here and here) [...]
Google Calandar launched today
Google Calander launched last night/today. I presume that Dan will be tossing us a review some time soon.

Newt in SoDak
Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich recently graced the great state of South Dakota with his presence. Interestingly enough, he’s not nearly the hawk I thought he was. He urged the US to leave Iraq quickly and simply leave a small force a la Korea.
According to the Argus Leader, Gingrich wisely stated "It was [...]
Creepy Sleepy Show #46
Creepy Sleepy Show 46 is now available. We discussed the current Libby bombshell, the use of wiretapping and expansion of Executive powers, and the possibility that the US is drawing up plans to nuke Iran.
Feedback, of course, is always welcome.
Also, we played a promo for Doq’s show, which is always quality.
Keep an eye on [...]
